Poll results: Here’s the top high school football play from Sept. 12-17 in southwest IL
BND readers had a chance to vote for the top high school varsity play of the week from the metro-east during the period of Sept. 12-17.
Voting ended at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26.
Here were the choices:
- Freeburg’s AJ Banks connects with Tucker Murphy for a touchdown against Breese Central.
- Freeburg’s Cole Stuart rushes for a touchdown against Breese Central.
- Althoff’s Antwan Strong runs for a touchdown against Mount Vernon.
- Althoff’s Braylon Grayson connects with Taylor Powell for a touchdown against Mount Vernon.
- Althoff’s Braylon Grayson connects with Andrew Lyke for a touchdown against Mount Vernon.
- Columbia’s Dominic Voegele returns a punt 67 yards for the game-winning touchdown against Roxana.
And the winner is ... Voegel’s punt return against Roxana, which secured 33% of the votes.
