Police investigating Trenton home invasion

A home invasion occurred Sunday morning at approximately 6:12 a.m. at a trailer located at 3505 Old Route 50 just outside of Trenton.

According to Clinton County Sheriff Doug Maue, there were firearms involved.

“Two male subjects kicked in the door. An argument ensued and shots were fired,” Maue said.

No one was hit, but two females who lived in the trailer were treated for non-life threatening injuries — mainly scrapes. One of the females received stitches.

The perpetrators, described as two black males, were gone when police arrived, according to police radio transmissions.

According to Maue, a motive for the home invasion is still undetermined.
