IDOT to reopen part of Illinois 157 bridge

The Illinois Department of Transportation on Friday plans to reopen part of the Illinois 157 bridge over Illinois 161/St. Clair Avenue, the agency said.

Weather permitting, one lane of traffic in each direction and all ramps will be opened Friday afternoon, IDOT said.

Work is planned to continue throughout the winter, and all four lanes are scheduled to be opened in the spring, weather permitting, the agency said.
