Crews battle SUV fire in Belleville apartment parking lot

Belleville fire crews extinguished an SUV fire in an apartment complex parking lot at 225 E. Church Road about 2 p.m. Thursday.

Deputy Chief Bud Jacobs said firefighters found a Ford Expedition’s engine in flames in the parking lot.

No one was injured.

Crews were investigating the cause of the fire Thursday afternoon.
