There’s still time to celebrate Friday the 13th with a $13 tattoo from this local shop

Deciding what you want will probably take longer than getting inked Friday at Almighty Tattoos in west Belleville.

The tattoo parlor, located at 4719 W. Main St., is offering a $13 tattoo special for Friday the 13th. (A $7 tip is a part of the deal, so bring $20 if you’re interested.)

The line was out the door Friday afternoon. Inside, customers were patiently waiting for one of three artists to call their number.

Almighty Tattoos expects to ink more than 150 people today. The process should take about 15 minutes once you choose from a list of more than 100 designs.

This isn’t the first time the tattoo shop has offered the promotion. Owner Lynn McNew said it’s a way to spread the word about the business.

“Small tattoos turn into big tattoos,” McNew said.

The most popular tattoo of the day was the Cheshire Cat from “Alice in Wonderland.” For more information, call 618- 355-9225. The deal runs until Almighty Tattoos closes at 9 p.m. Friday.
