Franklin County suspects in fatal shooting found, arrested in Waterloo

Waterloo police arrested two men Monday morning who were wanted in connection to a shooting in Franklin County, Missouri on Friday that killed a 46-year-old man.

Officers found the suspects at 310 Morrison Ave. in Waterloo, according to a Republic Times report. They were arrested and were being held at the Waterloo Police Department.

The shooting occurred at about 9 p.m. Friday, according to a press release. Deputies arrived on Wardfield Road and found Darrell L. Johnson, 46, unresponsive. He was taken to a hospital but did not survive his injuries.

Waterloo police, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Illinois State Police assisted Franklin County officials in the investigation.
