Man dies in ATV crash in Southern Illinois

A man died in an ATV crash in Jefferson County, according to authorities.
The man was found lying in a field off Presley Lane west of Mount Vernon early Saturday morning, according to Salem radio station WBJD. He was taken to Crossroads Hospital in Mount Vernon, but was pronounced dead. He apparently was riding the ATV alone when the crash occurred.
Further details were not immediately available. The man's name was not immediately released.
