Multi-vehicle crash closes westbound lanes on I-70 near Vandalia
Westbound traffic on Interstate 70 near Vandalia was closed at about 4 p.m. Wednesday for a multi-vehicle crash, according to Illinois State Police.
The crash was in a construction zone near milepost 65, between Vandalia and Otego Township. I-70 traffic was being rerouted to U.S. 40 toward Vandalia.
ISP encourages drivers to seek an alternate route, if possible.
As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, only one lane on I-70 west was open for drivers.
