Belleville man charged with raping O'Fallon woman
A 23-year-old Belleville man has been charged with raping an O'Fallon woman on May 31.
Adam A. Jones, 23, was still in custody Thursday morning on one charge of criminal sexual assault. The charge alleges the sexual assault occurred in O'Fallon and accuses him of raping the woman.
He was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Authorities did not immediately respond to calls for additional information.
