High School Football

Illinois high school football poll, Week 3

All of the metro-east’s state-ranked teams won their Week 3 games, but so did all the schools ranked above them.

As such, there is no shift in the Associated Press Illinois High School Football Top 10. East St. Louis and Althoff remain No. 2 in classes 7A and 4A respectively, though the Flyers did receive three votes for the top spot.

Highland is still at No. 3 in Class 5A, with Triad just outside the top 10 with seven votes. Central continues to mount support, but still ranks outside the top 10 in class 3A.
