Whether you’re hosting a party or looking for a meal conducive to leftovers, you may be searching for the most affordable place to grab pizza in Belleville.

The city of Belleville is home to a variety of local pizza restaurants as well as national chain locations. We’ve rounded up a price comparison to help you find the cheapest options for a large, one-topping pizza.

Our methodology

Chains vs. Local: We’ve broken out chains and local pizza parlors into two separate categories, as it’s hard to compare the national chains (with thousands of locations and massive marketing campaigns) with the small, fan-favorite local restaurants. We checked prices at eight chains and three local businesses.

National chains may sometimes be able to edge out local competitors for pricing due to their economies of scale, but spending at small businesses often has a stronger effect on the local economy. Quality ingredients and a family atmosphere also make local restaurants stand out to some residents.

Pricing: We excluded sale prices because they change frequently, and instead stuck to regular online menu pricing for carryout orders.

  • Prices are displayed pre-tax and pre-tip, and additional fees may apply.
  • Premium toppings and different crust types may cost more.
  • Pricing may also vary based on location; Belleville locations were used for this analysis.

Here’s where to find the most affordable pizza in Belleville.

Cheapest pizza from chain businesses

The cheapest pizzas in Belleville among eight chains we compared are found at Casey’s and Godfather’s Pizza Express (in Hucks). The most expensive large pizza was at Papa John’s. Here’s the breakdown:

Most affordable local pizza in Belleville

The local pies vary more by size and crust thickness than some of the national chains, but Papa Vito’s was the most affordable option among three local establishments for a thinner crust.

  • Papa Vito’s offers a 14-inch, hand-tossed build-your-own pizza with pepperoni added for $19.49. A 14-inch pepperoni pizza with thin crust would run you $16.99. A 16-inch thin-crust pizza with pepperoni (they don’t offer a hand-tossed 16-inch) is $19.49.
  • Bennie’s Pizza Pub has a 16-inch pepperoni pizza for $24.50. You can also get a slice of pepperoni pizza, equivalent to one-fourth of the pie, for $7.50.
  • Tavern on Main, while not exclusively a pizza restaurant, has a one-topping 16-inch pizza for $21.95.
