Supper club returns for a third year

The supper club began as a passion project for owners Jon and Liz Welzbacher and has “blossomed into a beautiful showcase of locally sourced seasonal ingredients that make for a try unmatched experience,” stated the release.

Ready for a taste of the holiday season?

Although it’s still pumpkin (and pumpkin spice) season, some businesses are already gearing up for Christmas.

Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery will launch its Holiday Cookie Exchange Collection Tuesday, Nov. 4, in all of its ice cream parlors, according to an Oct. 28 release.

The collection is “a collaboration with six acclaimed pastry chefs from around the country: Abi Balingit, Anna Gordon, Fany Gerson, Justine Doiron, Megan Garrelts, and St. Louis’s own Reine Keis,” stated the release. “Together, they’ve transformed signature cookie recipes into nostalgic, limited-edition ice creams that reimagine the warmth and creativity of the holiday cookie exchange through the lens of pastry craftsmanship.”

Fans of cookie exchanges may appreciate flavors that include Garrelts’ Nana’s 7 Layer Bar, a brown butter ice cream (nutty, toasty and golden) with “generous pieces of chewy-crunchy bar and rippled with silky butterscotch sauce” folded in, or Keis’ Thick Mints, an “ultra-creamy malted non-dairy ice cream, packed with chunks of thick mint cookies, creating a crisp, chocolate-dipped, and refreshingly cool flavor profile.”
