At least 1 metro-east grocery store will close early for Memorial Day. See hours
Memorial Day is coming up Monday, May 25, and most agencies and at least one popular Belleville grocery store will operate on a limited schedule.
- For those planning to mail a package or letter, the U.S. Postal Service will be closed Monday for the holiday.
- Memorial Day is considered a “bank holiday,” so most major banks will close, including Chase and Bank of America.
- Because the City of Belleville’s Sanitation Department observes the Memorial Day holiday, trash pickup regularly scheduled for May 25 or after will be delayed by one day.
