St. Louis County reports fifth coronavirus-related death
Another person has died from coronavirus complications in St. Louis County.
The patient, a man in his 50s, died Wednesday, the St. Louis County Department of Public Health said in a news release. It is not known if the man had underlying medical conditions.
According to the county’s COVID-19 map, here the five people who have died:
- female, 50-59, with underlying medical conditions
- female, 80-89, with underlying medical conditions
- female, 60-69, with underlying medical conditions
- male, 80-89, with underlying medical conditions
- male, 50-59, underlying medical conditions, if any, are unknown
St. Louis County had 605 confirmed cases of the virus as of Wednesday evening.
The city of St. Louis had 176 positive cases and one death announced on March 23.
