Latest coronavirus numbers in southwestern Illinois include 3 St. Clair County deaths
The region has had 1,732 cases and 116 coronavirus-related deaths since the pandemic began.
St. Clair County health officials reported three new deaths on Sunday: a man in his 50s, a man in his 70s and a woman in her 80s, all with underlying health conditions.
Madison County reported four new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, two men and two women.
Randolph County also reported one new positive case.
In the daily COVID-19 news release Sunday, the state announced 1,656 new cases statewide, bringing the total number to 77,741. Officials also announced 57 new deaths for a total of 3,406 since the pandemic began.
