“Officers received a call from a female who said her ex-boyfriend was driving a black vehicle and was following her and had flashed a handgun at her,” East St. Louis Police Chief Jerry Simon said.
Simon added that officers observed the vehicle pulling away from the parking lot of East St. Louis High School.
Officers stopped the vehicle and found a handgun in Green’s purse. They were informed that Green had entered the vehicle from the school, Simon said.
