The name of the third person who died in a St. Clair County crash was released by the coroner Wednesday.
Ashley N. Koehler, 37, of Lebanon, died as a result of the crash Monday night on U.S. 50 near Clinton County Line Road, according to St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr.
Dye previously released the names of two other persons killed in the crash: Jacob Emmerich-Tomlin, 10, from Lebanon, and Blaise Nowak, 21, of Trenton.
Illinois State Police said in a news release the crash occurred at about 8:49 p.m. Monday on U.S. 50 west of Clinton County Line Road.
A preliminary investigation indicates a Lincoln MKZ was going east on U.S. 50 and a Honda Pilot was going west when the head-on collision occurred, according to the state police news release. The driver of the Lincoln and the driver of the Honda as well as a passenger in the Honda died, police said.
Another passenger in the Honda was taken to a hospital with injuries, state police said. The condition of the injured passenger was not released.
State police said there was no other information available to release.
A GoFundMe fundraising page has been established for Jacob, Koehler and the injured passenger.
