The St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s office has charged three men with burglary and firearms charges following an early morning arrest in O’Fallon Tuesday.
Deonne K. Pettigrew, 21, of Cahokia, was charged with residential burglary and reckless discharge of a firearm. Charged with burglary and unlawful use of a weapon were Tony D. Collins, 23, and Timothy J. Prowl, 24, both of Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

The caller also provided a description of a suspicious car and the direction in which it was traveling. Officers were able to stop the car and take the three suspects into custody, according to a release from O’Fallon Police.
According to police, the three had entered a home in the 1200 block of Bossler Road and confronted one of its residents which led to shots being fired. There were no injuries, police said.
Police said the suspects had targeted the home due to an ongoing personal quarrel with the resident.
