Why are you running?
For more aggressive change. Citizens have been promised change and I want to move Wood River forward and complete the projects promised for too long.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?
Transparency. I will listen to all sides and discuss issues with all citizens on all issues even the ones I might not agree with. Citizens deserve someone who will listen to their concerns. Develop a more informing web page that citizens can access easily. Develop aging downtown, develop the East End of Wood River for new businesses and homes. Develop the 9th St. Retention Pond to bring over 170 homes out of Flood Plain, replace water lines and sewer lines, sidewalks and streets. Complete the Sewer Separation project. To address these issues we have to have a fiscal responsibility to the citizens and a city council that is here to work for the citizens.
Why should people vote for you?
Trustworthy, honest, and have high integrity. If elected, I want citizens to know that I care about them and the city. I will have an open door policy to address citizens concerns and listen actively to what they have to say. I promise to help improve the lives of Wood River citizens while being financially responsible to build a better Wood River for tomorrow.
