Why are you running? I have been interested in politics for a long time and it is now that I find I have the time to give back to my community. My daughters decided to settle in Mascoutah after attending Mascoutah High School and meeting their future husbands. We were a military family and they chose to have Mascoutah be the foundation for their children. It was a wise choice for both of them. I have become very attached to Mascoutah and the people that make up such a wonderful town. Because of this, I believe I should try to help our civic leaders keep Mascoutah a great place to live as we continue to improve, grow and keep our small town values.

What is the top issue in your race, how would you address it? The top issue in my race is taxes. I will work to not have a tax increase..

Why should people vote for you? I believe people should vote for me because I will work for them. I will be polite and listen to their concerns. If they are their concerns, they will be my concerns. I will work to see that the City is fiscally responsible, especially during this time when many people are out of work.

I hope you vote for me because I want the best for Mascoutah and the community and I will work hard to accomplish goals set by the City of Mascoutah and the people of Mascoutah. Thank you, Robin Booth
