Please list highlights of your civic involvement: I have not been involved in politics anytime in my life. This is the first time I’ve been moved to do so.
Why are you running? We are concerned with the condition of our Ward. It is made up of the oldest homes in Granite. The relationship between owner, renter and the city has to be revisited. The other issue that is so obvious is our inability to control our trash. People can’t just throw trash out in the yard.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? The issues that concern me I mentioned above. I want to be a part of making the city better. Anything I can do to help any Ward will be part of my job.
Why should people vote for you? I have been a part of Ward 2 for 71 years. My parents bought our house in 1946 and I still live in that home today. It has been completely restored to original and my wife and I love it here. I have been in Ward 2 longer than most people have been on the planet. Ha. I have also seen the dramatic changes that have taken place.
