Why are you running? I am an alumna of this district and currently have two kids in the school system. I care about the community and know that a good school system is key to attracting and keeping great families in our district. My focus in on what is best for students. I want my own kids as well as all other students to have the opportunities that will ensure their future success.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? Giving students the opportunity to be in the classroom as much as possible is my priority. Over the past year, we have had to navigate uncharted territory due to COVID-19. Our administration has done a wonderful job keeping students and staff safe. As positive cases decline we need to work to get students back into the classroom more. Having students in a class setting, with their teacher and other students is what is best for kids.
Why should people vote for you? I am a lifelong member of the community who cares about the students, staff and teachers of the district. I am committed to improving the quality of education to all students in our community.
