Minimum qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree with a major in “therapeutic recreation, music therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, drama therapy, leisure studies or recreation with a specialization in recreational therapy, including successful completion of an approved internship, fieldwork or practicum,” the listing says.
Job responsibilities include, according to the listing:
“Provides therapeutically activity programs and conducts direct therapy for patients served at Chester Mental Health Center on an assigned unit, on an assigned shift.
As a member of the treatment team, participates in the formulating of treatment plans.
Evaluates behaviors and reactions relative to patient’s reaction with activities and leisure time.
Maintains awareness of supplies and equipment for various activities.
Monitors and maintains adequate resources and verifies a safe environment for patients and staff.
Participates in formal on-the-job training opportunities to develop greater skills regarding therapeutic techniques.”

Minimum qualifications include “knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of high school” and one year of clerical supportive experience in the Department of Human Services or equivalent training and experience, according to the listing.
Job responsibilities include, the listing says:
“Performs routine casework support functions by screening and registering applications, sorting of incoming documents, maintaining office supplies and forms, providing office receptionist functions for support staff.
Identifies and sorts documents coming into the Family and Community Resource Center (FCRC).

“Completion of a bachelor’s in engineering from an ABET accredited college OR a master’s degree in engineering (includes those expecting to graduate in the next 12 months) OR a current Engineer Intern License in the state of Illinois. (Note: Those applying with only a degree must have a minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA in engineering related courses. If 2.0-2.5 GPA, applicants must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.)

This position includes “technical work of a civil engineering nature in connection with the planning, design, construction and operation of transportation infrastructure.”

Agency: Department of Children and Family Services
Wage: $6,005 per month anticipated starting salary
Location: Belleville

Minimum qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in early childhood education or child development, a minimum of 18 hours of coursework in child development or early childhood education and two years of professional experience in early childhood, day care center, kindergarten or a day care licensing program, the listing says.
Conditions of employment include ability to pass a background check, possession of a valid driver’s license, daily access to an automobile and proof of vehicle insurance, according to the listing.
Job responsibilities include, the listing says:
“Serves as Day Care Licensing Representative.
Initiates re-licensing activity (requesting necessary inspections, providing reapplication forms, etc.) prior to the expiration date of day care center and home licenses.
Provides ongoing monitoring of assigned day care centers and homes, visiting each at least once per year and making additional visits as needed.
Investigates alleged violations of the Illinois Child Care Act and Department standards and regulations as applied to licensed, unlicensed, and license-exempt facilities.

Wage: $14 to $18 per hour
Location: Sparta

Minimum qualifications for this position include “education, knowledge, and mental development equivalent to an 8th grade education,” the listing says, and preferred qualifications include knowledge of firearm safety. Additional requirements include a minimum age of 16, ability to work shifts up to 9 or 10 hours and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
