The 2025 NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournaments tip off in the week ahead, and it’s time to start making preparations for filling out your bracket.
Step one takes place this weekend with NCAA Selection Sunday, when 68 men’s and 68 women’s teams will be seeded and provided matchups toward the championship pursuits to come.
The men’s Selection Show is on CBS at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 16.
The women’s Selection Show is on ESPN at 8 p.m. Sunday, March 16.
Before tuning in, many like to put their hands on a blank copy of the bracket to fill in as the selections are revealed.

Here is the schedule for the 2025 Men’s NCAA Tournament
First Four: March 18-19
First round: March 20-21
Second round: March 22-23
Sweet 16: March 27-28
Elite Eight: March 29-30
Final Four: Saturday, April 5, at times to be determined on CBS (Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas)
NCAA championship game: Monday, April 7, at time to be determined on CBS (Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas)
Note: Rupp Arena will host first- and second-round games March 20 and 22.
Here is the schedule for the 2025 Women’s NCAA Tournament
First Four: March 19-20
First round: March 21-22
Second round: March 23-24
Sweet 16: March 28-29
Elite Eight: March 30-31
Final Four: Friday, April 4, at 7 and 9:30 p.m. EDT on ESPN (Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida)
NCAA championship game: Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC (Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida)
Note: Memorial Coliseum will host first- and second-round games if Kentucky is a top-16 overall seed.
