A 21-year-old Breese woman is the third person charged this month in connection with two June robberies in Belleville.

Autumn J. Moles, 21, was charged Wednesday with four counts of armed robbery in connection with the two robbery reports.

The first robbery happened about 9:45 p.m. June 3 in the 4300 block of South Park Drive. Belleville police said the suspects approached three victims, and one of them displayed a handgun; the other, a knife.

While no one was injured, the suspects took off on foot with the people’s personal property, police said.

The second robbery happened about an hour later at Wing China, 9 Bellevue Park Plaza. Police said three people entered the business from the back and again displayed a handgun and a knife to employees.

The three again ran off with the store’s money.

Moles’ charges state they took money from a man, and a purse, duffel bag and cell phone from a woman, threatening them with a gun in both instances.

Moles was in custody at the St. Clair County Jail as of Thursday afternoon. Her bail is set at $200,000.

Thomas Bowen, 18, also faces four counts of armed robbery. He was in custody as of Thursday afternoon on $400,000 bail.

Co-defendant Marvin Wallace, 19, was charged in only one of the armed robberies. He, too, was in custody Thursday afternoon on $300,000 bail.
