The 5 cheapest flights from MidAmerica for your summer vacation plans
If you’re dreaming of your next getaway from the metro-east, you may want to check out five of the cheapest flights available from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport as of June 6.
Allegiant is the sole airline serving MidAmerica, and it offers non-stop flights to 15 destinations, although some routes are only offered seasonally.
The metro-east airport is running a special July 7, which began July 6, but even its regular offerings often include journeys for less than $160 round trip.
Here’s a roundup of the five cheapest one-way tickets from MidAmerica under its “Summer Deals” sale, with prices current as of July 6:
1. Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Price: $46
Average flight time: 1 hour 45 minutes
Myrtle Beach is a well-known destination for beaches, amusement parks and camping options.
2. Gulf Shores, Ala.
Price: $47
Average flight time: 2 hours
Allegiant added this destination to its MidAmerica destination roster in 2025, and it’s known for its “clear turquoise waters and sugar-white sand beaches,” as well as a zoo, waterpark and more.
3. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Price: $49
Average flight time: 2 hours 30 minutes
This popular South Florida city offers 23 miles of beaches, as well as a riverwalk with live music and restaurants.
4. Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
Price: $53
Average flight time: 2 hours
Destin is popular for its beach activities, such as scuba diving and snorkeling.
5. Savannah/Hilton Head, Ga.
Price: $54
Average flight time: 1 hour 44 minutes
Savannah is known for its walkable areas, architecture, history and coastline. You can explore City Market, Forsyth Park and River Street, and there are a number of historic inns where you can book a stay.
