O’Fallon girls tennis starts 2020 fall season with solid showing at Edwardsville

In their first match of the 2020 season, the O’Fallon Lady Panthers tennis team competed in the Edwardsville doubles tournament on Saturday.

The team came out strong and finished in second place behind Edwardsville. The No. 1 doubles team senior Ali Mueller and junior Megan Mueller placed third, while the No. 2 doubles team of senior Gabi Schram and junior Ava Taylor placed second.

A strong showing by sophomore Megan Marrs and freshman Analiese Reidelberger brought them a first place finish. The team is looking forward to another great season.

Edwardsville finished first with 26 points, while O’Fallon collected 20 points. Belleville East (15 points) and Belleville West (10 points) rounded out the field.
