Please list highlights of your civic involvement: As New Baden Park Board member, I helped write the Village Park Master Plan. I sent out Village-wide surveys to residents to determine levels of interest and rank park improvements. We also built-out the roller hockey rink to a state of the art facility. As New Baden Trustee, I worked to streamline the public works department. I helped implement a ditch cleaning program. As Public Safety chair, I worked to formalize the Police Department vehicle replacement program. I also identified EMS department needs and started the process to obtain a new headquarters for the EMS. I also worked towards approval for purchase of a new ambulance (purchased after I left office).

Why are you running? As an engineer, I’m a problem solver. I approach a situation by listening/receiving the information presented to me; researching for more information and identifying potential solutions; apply all factors that may affect the outcome; and then present my recommended solution to the “client.” I can do this with Village staff and our residents with ease. I’m open minded, and want to serve the residents of Swansea with the best intentions to continue to improve our Village.

What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? My plan is to listen my first year to identify any potential problem areas/issues I can help address. I want to help continue attracting businesses to the Village. I’m excited about our Conservation area, and would love to continue expanding the amenities it has to offer.

Why should people vote for you? I bring experience (as a former Village Trustee) and perspective (as a civil engineer who works on public projects) to work and identify potential issues and provide answers and guidance to continue providing a great place to live, play, and work here in Swansea.
