Please list the highlights of your civic involvement: The highlights of involvement are supporting OTHS students in academics, sports and the arts as much as possible. During normal times that is attending an OTHS function/activity three or four times a week.
Why are you running? To be honest, I was not going to run for another term. I was talked into it at the last moment. I gave it a great deal of thought and decided that if I was going to run for another term, that I was going to give it my all. District 203 is losing some great, talented administrators in the next four years and I would like to be a part of the team assuring that they are replaced with the best possible.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? The top issue right now is COVID-19. Many students are struggling with virtual learning. This is an issue that is not unique to OTHS. Many students are finding out that they will be lacking the number of credits needed to graduate. OTHS is developing a credit recovery program to rectify this problem, as well as looking at other possible solutions.
Why should people vote for you? I believe that I have the experience needed during these difficult times as well as the knowledge needed to replace our administrators in the future. I am always at school functions and approachable. I’m the type of person that will greet you before you can greet me.
