With another wave of a winter storm expected to hit the metro-east with several inches of snow, most school leaders have either canceled classes on Thursday or assigned students to attend remote learning.
The following schools will have e-learning Thursday:
▪ Alton Schools
▪ Belleville High School District 201
▪ Belleville School District 118
▪ Collinsville School District 10
▪ Dupo School District 196
▪ East Alton-Wood River School District 14
▪ East St. Louis School District 189, e-learning on Friday as well.
▪ Freeburg High School
▪ Granite City School District 9
▪ Harmony-Emge School District 175
▪ Mascoutah School District 19
▪ McKendree University
▪ Signal Hill School District 181
▪ Triad School District 2
The following schools are closed Thursday:
▪ Belleville Area Special Services
▪ Belle Valley School District 119
▪ Bond County School District 2
▪ Cahokia School District 187 is closed through Friday as well.
▪ Central School District 104
▪ Columbia School District 4
▪ East Alton-Wood River School District 14
▪ Edwardsville School District 7
▪ Governor French Academy
▪ Lewis and Clark Community College
▪ Madison School District 12, also closed on Friday
▪ Millstadt School District 160
▪ New Athens School District 60
▪ Our Lady Queen of Peace in Belleville and Bethalto
▪ Red Bud School District 132
▪ St. John the Baptist in Smithton, also closed on Friday
▪ Southwestern Illinois College -Day
▪ Valmeyer School District 3
▪ Waterloo School District 5
▪ Zion Lutheran School in Belleville
